The sunbrick provides the same solar replication technology that G2V Optics has proven to be the best. Using advanced LED driven illumination that was established in the Pico small area simulator, the sunbrick makes large area solar simulation quick and easy with no bulb replacements, no warm-up time, and no calibration required. The sunbrick works with any space you have with its modular support system. Whether you’re working in a confined space or a large testing facility, the sunbrick provides quality solar simulation to whoever requires it.
The sunbrick provides the same precise spectral replication that only G2V Optics can offer. Using the same advanced LED technology as in our pico small area solar simulator, the sunbrick requires no bulb changes, no warm-up time, an no calibration. The sunbrick can replicate any terrestrial or extraterrestrial solar spectra including AM1.5G, AM0 – AM10, and geography-, season-, or time-specific spectra with the click of a button.
Class A Sunbrick offers a high consistency, high precision spectral mismatch of less than 5% to exceed Class A requirements by a factor of 5 – as defined by ASTM, IEC, and JIS.

Class A Sunbrick offers a high consistency, lower precision spectral mismatch of less than 25% to meet Class A requirements as defined by ASTM, IEC, and JIS.

Both Sunbrick models have a 25cm x 25cm output of illumination, with a working distance of 50cm. Mounted on a strong aluminum frame that makes installations and configuration simple.
The Variable Spectra module unlocks full spectral control with software-controlled intensity manipulation. Also known as adjustable, dynamic and programmable spectra. This enables control of up to 36 wavelengths to replicate virtually any solar condition. Variable Spectra enable One-Click Sun use which allows users to replicate solar irradiance based on geography, season and time of day.
Variable Spectra Module is included with the sunbrick.
The IV module will measure the performance of solar cells and generate a characterization report showing all electrical characteristics with curve fitting for error analysis – following the standard test method defined by ASTM E1021. Obtain rapid, accurate and efficient measurements for your research devices with Current-Voltage testing.
IV Module is a separate module that can be added to any order for sunbrick.
The Sunbrick can be used in whatever quantity you require. With our modular support system, we make it easy for the Sunbrick to conform to any space you provide. Strong supports, and precise layout ensures the Sunbricks are consistently providing uniform engineered sunlight.
